Federal and State Work Study

The Federal and State Work Study program is available to financial aid-eligible students as a need-based financial aid award. You must apply and be determined eligible for financial aid to receive work study. Funding is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

FAFSA and Work Study
Apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), answering yes to the question that you are interested in work study. You will receive an award notification from the Financial Aid Office and Letter of interest from the Work Study office.

Waitlist
Students who are not awarded work study as part of their original financial aid package may elect to be placed on a waitlist. If you would like to be placed on the Work Study Waitlist, please complete the Work Study Waitlist Form. The Work Study Placement Office will award eligible students on a first-come, first-served basis.

Direct Deposit
Students are encouraged to sign up for Direct Deposit of your paycheck into your personal bank account.

If you receive notification that you have been awarded work study and you choose to accept it, you first need to view the Work Study Orientation.
